Take Care the Suffering
reliance
preserve
us
all
take care
the
suffering
there is
a
light
pure
of heart
have
nothing
to
fear

Second Thoughts
bright
billowy
low and lazy
balls of cotton
plucking distance
gently drifting
seems quaint
picturesque
but the treeline parts
hanging heavy
truth revealed
not so sure
i want to be
here

Song of Silence
the population
in the
hallway
its so many
not the truth
and i’d better
stop singing
the quartets
come close
a memory
haunting
this minute
a wind howling
us and them
wrapped and adjoined
searching
enjoy the warning
for what happens next
the lyrics escape me
the setting is clear
so many times
a lullabye
traveling in time
to listen
a thought, despite
the tragedy sleeping
in the right direction
but your cup is empty

Bottled Up
heads up
your patience
a capacity for
unfortunate feeling
i’ve been there
search for the front
safe mode
nothing to see
how to leave it
to protect themselves
a disallowance
direct access
the craving drapes the show
guardianship over
this pitiful blizzard
a reason to deny
nothing
imminent attack
a secret
i just won’t let it
grow

Outside the Night
did you notice the night?
i fell right through your eyes
to take everything
i fell right through the wormhole
just to hear a memory
fascinated by the gallows
the shape is produced
but the setting escapes me
stand outside
to take my stand
hoping
should we fear to look?
or reality?
when its raining
let go to make new ghosts
open the wind and rain
with the hourglass they stand
just to wait and see
if i care
