welcome to earth
population
of kings
a world of luxury
forbidden
palaces
of power
declaring war
on nature
an advancing army
unguarded walls
a facade
covering up
the burn
whitewashed
and sealed
more effective
impenetrable
but there is
an
intruder

something
not so extreme
with
coats wide open
and no city lights
to see
they could have
a spectacle
inside these
double doors
these weapons
are
the result of
other things
or i could
just talk to
myself
even then
